The Science of CBD is an educational initiative centered on providing clarity and debunking the myths surrounding all things Hemp and CBD. Each weekly episode features a guest expert, discussing relevant content designed to create consumer awareness and transparency. Our elite panel of guest experts is led by our in-house expert, Professor Gene Bruno (Prof. of Nutraceutical Science – Huntington University / Director of Formulation – Twinlab). Gene Bruno, MS, MHS, RH(AHG)
Professor of nutraceutical science Huntington University of Health Sciences
Gene Bruno is professor of nutraceutical science for Huntington University of Health Sciences and also the senior director of product innovation for Twinlab Consolidation Corporation. Bruno has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutrition, as well as a graduate diploma and master’s degree in herbal medicine. As a 40-year veteran of the dietary supplement industry and award-winning formulator, he has developed natural products for dozens of dietary supplement companies; educated and trained natural product retailers and health care professionals; and written articles on nutrition, herbal medicine, nutraceuticals and integrative health issues for trade, consumer and peer-reviewed publications, as well as authoring books and textbook chapters. His latest book is What’s In Your Blood & Why You Should Care: How to Cleanse and Detoxify Your Blood for Optimum Health(©2019, Square One Publishers).
